Lani-
A note on widowers- when my mom passed on and left my dad a widower I was inundated with people warning me how fast men remarry when they are widowed (ack!)- and the more happily married they were the quicker. I think there is some statistical evidence. Although I really don’t feel like sorting through the google right now.
Love the podcast- can’t wait for the ’80s
Hell, my grandfather found himself a new girlfriend AND MOVED IN WITH HER before my grandmother even died. Class-ay. And the girlfriend called my mom up at work to say “We’re in love and there’s nothing you can do about it!” a few days before my grandmother died.
Yeah, widowers. Fun times.
Okay, Charlie was not that bad. In fact, I think he was pretty good.
But your stepgrandmother sounds awful.
